Abiodun Thomas, the detained activist arrested on the orders of the IGP, will spend at least another weekend in detention as she was remanded in the Suleja Custodial Centre on Friday.

Earlier, FIJ reported that the police hurriedly arraigned Thomas on Friday morning before Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Although the police arrested her on December 13 in Lagos State and moved her to Abuja the following day, they did not take her statement until Thursday, which was about a week later.
